Installation requirements for fixings in SkamoWall Board
- The permissible static load for a single fixing must not exceed 15 kg.
- Use an 8 × 40 mm nylon expansion plug (e.g., Fischer DuoPower) together with a compatible screw with a diameter of 6 mm.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 50 mm between the fixing and the edge of the board.
- Pre-drill an 8 mm diameter hole without impact or hammer drilling.
- Objects whose detachment could result in personal injury or significant property damage must be anchored through the SkamoWall Board directly into the load-bearing substrate. The fixing system must be selected according to the substrate and the total thickness of the SkamoWall system.
