SkamoWall Board is open to diffusion and can absorb and release moisture.
When water is absorbed into the material calcium silicate, it will always seek out the dry part of the material. The, when airing out, the moisture will be released into the room.
SkamoWall can absorb approximately 250% moisture in relation to its own weight.
The calcium silicate SkamoWall Board is a solution to prevent the formation of mold, as it is produced from inorganic materials that do not provide nutrients for mold to grow and spread.

Despite the lightness of the SkamoWall Board, it has an incredibly high strength and is screw-friendly. This also means that you can drill directly into the board.
For loads above 2kg, we recommend using standard anchors, which can be easily mounted by predrilling in the SkamoWall Board.
